Evolution of the legendary Python, multiple XC World Cup winner notably with Julien Absalon, the HUTCHINSON Python 2 tire tire is designed for Cross-Country andEnduro on dry to slightly loose terrain.
In this new version, the Python 26x2.25 combines limited-height side blocks divided into three distinct sections to ensure optimum grip when cornering, a central chain of studs offering maximum performance on dry terrain while guaranteeing permanent contact with the ground, and in between, upturned "pistol" studs for straightforward, biting braking.
It also benefits from Hardskin's high-resistance nylon textile grid reinforcement under the tread and on the sidewalls to avoid cuts on angular stones.
Designed by French manufacturer HUTCHINSON, the Python 2 is ideal for rear mounting, and perfectly complements the Cobra or Cougar at the front.

"I just put this tire on my bike and after a first ride, I felt the difference. It's very rolling. Beware I finished my ride in the mud ( unexpected storm and the , c not made for but not at all lol). Use it on dry roads!

"Hardskin or not, punctures come easily, for my part on the first outing with this tire. One cross bramble and it's 4 slow punctures on the program... . I think nothing beats the puncture-proof tape to be added between the tire and the tube."
