Popular with the Commencal Enduro team, the tire HUTCHINSON Toro 27,5x2,25 Sideskin Tubeless Ready flexible bead is at ease on mixed to loose terrain, and is designed for hard-core riding.
The more open side lugs provide high-performance grip, while the reduced tread lugs optimize performance and facilitate mud evacuation. The sharp, abrupt edges provide excellent traction. The structural rubber that reinforces the lugs can also withstand the most powerful braking.
In this version, HUTCHINSON's Toro is equipped with Sideskin reinforcement for light, effective protection against cuts, punctures and heavy impacts.
Ideal for rear mounting, the Toro 2.25 combines perfectly with a 2.35 at the front for optimum performance.

"Haven't put it on the bike yet, but I'm planning to this fall!"
"Nice design, good grip, no flats so far. Installed on an e-bike, they're better than my original tires."
"Good grip and easy to install. I've tried several models from this brand and am very satisfied."
"Fitted with 2/25 tires on the rear, excellent traction in mud."
"When mounted on the rear wheel, pressure is 1.6 bar without an inner tube. For all-mountain riding, mud, wet conditions, or even dry conditions... it's always top-notch! Installation isn't too difficult; it snaps into place with the first pump and sits perfectly. However, you need 100 ml of puncture-proof sealant and have to make sure the sealant gets everywhere . . . very porous tire!"
"Use in very wet or muddy conditions. The tire grips well and handles responsively."
"Very good product—tested only on dry ground so far; it remains to be seen how well it performs on looser, wetter terrain."
"I was riding the Toro 27.5 x 2.25 Hardskin Race Ripost XC. I found that tire to be pretty heavy and stiff; the knobs wore down and cracked, and I wasn't too impressed... but this cheaper version of the Toro gives me a completely different ride! The rubber is softer, the tire is more flexible, lighter, and more comfortable, and the grip is on another level—I’m really surprised by such a difference. This tire suits my trail/enduro-oriented riding style much better. No flats to report so far; the previous one, even though it was a hardskin, didn’t spare me any trouble, so this one’s been flawless so far. The only thing left to compare is durability, but the previous one once again didn’t shine in that area—it lasted only 1,000 km before becoming too risky on muddy terrain—so this new Toro Side Skin in 2.25 has a good chance."
"Product is fine, delivered on time. Everything is fine. . . . . . ."
