Description

The SHIMANO XT M8220 Enduro 4-piston brakes are designed to meet the most extreme demands of enduro and technical mountain riding. Fitted with the BL-M8200 alloy lever, they combine power, precision and comfort thanks to advanced ergonomics, a new pivot point and optimized shift adjustment, allowing natural finger placement for optimum control.

The redesigned SERVO WAVE system enhances the power curve throughout the lever stroke, ensuring progressive, balanced braking. Combined with low-viscosity SHIMANO mineral oil, it guarantees consistent performance even in extreme heat or prolonged downhill conditions. The brake remains stable and responsive, offering total control in the most committed sections.

TheBR-M8220 4-piston caliper is the most powerful in the XT range. Built in two pieces with heat-resistant resin pistons, it ensures efficient heat dissipation. New brake pads reduce vibration and noise, for smooth, silent braking.

Finally, streamlined hose routing, improved seals and compatibility with downhill components make the M8220 a versatile, reliable and powerful enduro brake for the most demanding terrain.
