A nasty cut that I

"A nasty cut that I couldn't plug with conventional wicks on a brand new tire. Great repair. Easy and efficient, tire saved."

Easy to use in the comfort of your own home

"These patches are very easy to use. However, I can't judge their long-term effectiveness. In fact, after installing the patch on a Hutchinson Caracal rear tire, I realized that it had been badly damaged by too large a slash and that it would be risky to keep it despite the repair. I therefore replaced the tire, and have ridden very little with the repair in place. Nevertheless, I can say that this repair is easy to use and seems serious enough to use a tire that would be little damaged by the puncture, say a hole rather than a gash of several mm as was my case. It's a repair solution that seems quite appropriate for me to use quietly in the garage, but I can't see myself implementing it at the roadside unannounced (preventive fluid, wiping off the fluid, cleanliness of the repair). For roadside repairs, if the preventive fluid isn't enough, the best thing would be to use the wicks temporarily, then once back home these patches to replace the unreliable wicks over time."
