Description

These LOOK X-Track En-Rage pedals pedals promise excellent All Mountain/Enduro performance! They differ from the X-Track En-Rage Plus in their slightly narrower footprint (63 vs. 67 mm).

Their design is comparable to that of the Cross Country X-Track Race pedals: the side sections offer excellent support under the sole, for efficient power transfer, especially as a cage surrounds the central platform. Spikes have been added to improve grip under the cleats, and the Q-Factor has been enlarged for greater pedaling comfort.

The X-Track En-Rage pedal is open in the center and at the ends of the cage, to allow efficient evacuation of mud and sand, which can interfere with the system's proper engagement. The patented system is SPD-compatible. Intuitive, it lets you adjust spring tension and offers 6° of angular freedom.

The X-Track En-Rage pedal is built around a chromoly steel axle incorporating perfectly sealed bearings, sealed by two new gaskets at each end.

Very practical pedals

"Ideal pedals for SPD cleats, especially with the dual-sided mounting"

Clovi69 (5/5)

Very practical double-sided pedals

"I use it on a road bike. Even though it's a bit heavier, the convenience of the double-sided design has become indispensable to me. It clips right in... especially when starting up a hill."

Gentleman-Vinleb78 (4/5)

A good product worth recommending.

"Easy to engage, excellent grip. The trigger adjustment is a nice touch. A high-quality product."

Emc2 (5/5)

Excellent pedal

"An excellent pedal—very well-made and easy to clip in and out of, with good spring tension adjustment. The only minor drawback is that the adjustment screws might be a bit fragile (the screw heads)."

Pleasant

"Adjustable, easy to unclip, wide base, no problems"

The purchase

"I chose this product to replace my SHIMANO PD-M520 pedals (which had served me well for 6 years: the adjustment screws were worn out, but the bearings were still fine). I wanted larger platforms for the few enduro rides I do each year, to increase the contact surface and improve comfort during long descents. I’m very happy with this purchase—after 180 km of AM/Enduro Light riding, they’re working perfectly; we’ll see how they hold up over the long term!"

Loocheet (5/5)

Good value for the money.

"A great model for the price. However, you really need to set the release mechanism to be very sensitive; otherwise, it's hard to get your boot out of the binding."

Didier95 (4/5)

Great pedals

"The first thing that struck me was how incredibly easy it is to unclip, but especially to clip in—I’ve never had pedals this responsive in that regard. Plus, adjusting the tension is a breeze. The wide contact surface is very comfortable, even for XC riding: it offers great comfort, remarkable stability on steep descents, excellent power transfer, and a very natural pedaling feel, without any discomfort, even in ruts. They’re also relatively lightweight for this price range. In short, very versatile pedals at a truly attractive price!"

Just what I needed

"I can say that my relationship with clipless pedals began in 1993. We parted ways on bad terms in 2005. I’m giving them another try. That’s why I also got cleats that are easy to unclip. After a 25-km ride, it’s fine."

Bebel05 (5/5)

Top-of-the-line mountain bike pedal

"Of course, when I was putting it together, I mixed up the left and right pedals and managed to install one of them upside down. Installation is easy and the result is very effective. Adjustment is fairly straightforward, and after two or three "by feel" attempts, you can quickly find a position where you feel comfortable without any strain. The stiffness of the mechanisms wasn’t a problem at all. When riding, it’s a cross-country approach that confirms a sporting and technical maturity. Be careful not to use such a system with a beginner or a poor cyclist; you’ll notice that the fundamentals come back to the surface: how to get on a bike, braking, pedaling while braking..."
