The MAVIC COMETE 55 Front Wheel features the COMETE range's carbon design with a 55 mm profile engineered to boost aerodynamic efficiency. This configuration forms the front wheel of the 55/65 set, geared towards fast, undulating courses where high speeds allow you to make the most of its aerodynamic profile.
The Aero Wide Rim boasts a 25 mm internal width and a 34 mm external width. It is optimised for 30 mm tyres to achieve a smooth tyre-rim transition. This design encourages efficient airflow and helps limit drag, especially in crosswind conditions.
Adaptive Layup technology combines T700, T1000 and 3K fibres to achieve an optimal balance of stiffness, weight, comfort and responsiveness. This carbon construction ensures dynamic handling despite the deeper rim profile.
The wheel features 21 Aero Spokes carbon spokes, laced with 14 crossed two-cross and 7 radial. Their bladed, aerodynamic profile enhances power transfer and reduces rotational drag.
At just 620 g, the COMETE 55 is remarkably light for its profile. It is part of the 55/65 configuration designed for rolling and undulating routes, where the pursuit of aerodynamic efficiency becomes paramount.
