The MAXXIS Ardent Race 27.5x2.20 Exo 3C MaxxSpeed Tubeless Ready folding bead tyre was developed for Cross-Country and All Mountain rides, on mixed terrain from soft to hard. In the MAXXIS MTB tyre range, it sits between the XC-oriented Ikon and the Ardent, which is more geared towards true Enduro!
Designed to promote traction, this tyre features side knobs that ensure effective grip in corners. The low-profile centre knobs reduce rolling resistance.
The Ardent Race delivers exceptional performance thanks to its supple 120 tpi casing and the 3C MaxxSpeed triple compound it uses, which promotes efficiency. Three types of rubber are combined: a hard base layer and two softer rubber compounds on the surface, particularly on the sides, to better ensure grip from the side knobs.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, the MAXXIS Ardent Race tyre also features Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls, providing increased protection against abrasion and tears.
