MAXXIS ASSEGAI 27.5x2.50 WT Double Down 3C tire MaxxGrip Tubeless Ready Soft Black

Developed and tested with Greg Minnaar, the tire MAXXIS Assegai 27,5x2,50" WT 3C Maxx Grip Double Down takes its name from a spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. It's the perfect weapon for fighting the mountains with your Enduro bike.

It features high lugs for great traction and support on dry and wet terrain, as well as root and rocky terrain. The 3C Maxx Terra rubber combines three different compounds: a hard compound for the base of the studs to ensure rigidity when deforming them and maintain a precise fit; a soft compound for the central studs to optimize their deformation when braking, pedaling and negotiating obstacles; and a very soft compound for the sidewall studs for maximum grip when cornering.

In this version Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, features Double Down reinforced sidewalls for greater strength and rigidity than the EXO Protection carcass. Manufactured with 2 x 60 tpi plies and a bead with a butyl insert, this carcass, developed for Enduro use, is lighter than the brand's DH carcass.
