Description

Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai 29x2.60" 3C tyre MaxxGrip Exo+ takes its name from a spear of the Zulu people of South Africa. It is therefore the perfect weapon for conquering mountains.

It features tall knobs providing great traction and good support on dry and wet, rooty or rocky terrain.

In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features an Exo+ casing that increases puncture resistance by 27% and pinch flat resistance by 28%, while improving sidewall durability by 51%. Offering outstanding puncture resistance, it combines two proven technologies: the Silkshield textile layer running bead to bead, which improves the robustness of the tread, and the EXO protection that reinforces the tyre sidewalls. Durable and lightweight, it sits between the Exo and the Double Down.
