Designed for aggressive XC and All Mountain riding, the MAXXIS Forekaster 29x2.40 WT Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready tire performs particularly well on muddy, wet terrain.

Its design combines pronounced lateral lugs for excellent grip and ultra-efficient braking, with widely-spaced mid-high lugs in the tread for optimal mud evacuation.

Perfect for competition, the Forekaster is built around a soft 120 tpi carcass, with a triple 3C MaxxSpeed compound, which also offers an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed and superior performance to MaxxGrip. Three types of tread compound are combined: a hard underlayer and two softer tread compounds on the surface, particularly on the sides, to ensure better grip for the sidewall studs.

In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, the MAXXIS Forekaster tire is also equipped with Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls for enhanced protection against abrasion and tearing.
