MAXXIS REKON 27.5x2.40 WT Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready Folding Black Tyre

Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tyre 27.5x2.40 WT Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready folding bead is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Country, but is designed for highly technical terrain requiring more grip and control. Its taller knobs are also larger and less numerous than those of the Ikon.

Featuring a flexible 60 tpi carcass, this version uses the triple MaxxTerra rubber compound offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior rolling efficiency compared to MaxxGrip.

In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features Exo sidewall reinforcement, providing additional protection against abrasion and tears. It should also be noted that the carcass has been optimised for mounting on a rim with an internal width of 35 mm.
