Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tire 27.5x2.80 SilkShield Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready with soft rod is also designed for competition Cross-Country on a standard 27.5 PLUS bike, but is designed for highly technical terrain requiring greater grip and control.
Featuring a 60 tpi carcass and the triple MaxxTerra compound offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior performance to MaxxGrip, the Rekon tire from MAXXIS will delight riders looking for a lightweight, high-performance model.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, the tire also features SilkShield sidewall-to-sidewall and Exo sidewall reinforcements for maximum protection against punctures, tearing and abrasion.
