Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tyre 29x2.60 Exo+ 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready folding bead is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Country, but it is designed for highly technical terrain requiring more grip and control. Taller, its knobs are also larger and fewer in number than those of the Ikon.
Featuring a supple 120 tpi casing, this version features the MaxxTerra triple compound rubber blend offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior efficiency to MaxxGrip.
In this Tubeless Ready version that can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features the Exo+ reinforcement, which combines the Exo and SilkShield reinforcements for total protection against abrasion and tears.
