Inspired by the Ikon, the tire MTB MAXXIS Rekon Race 29x2.25" Exo SkinWall Tubeless Ready with soft rod is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Countrybut is designed for highly technical, rolling terrain requiring greater grip and performance. Its studs are smaller and more numerous than those of the Ikon.
Equipped with a robust 60 tpi carcass, this version features the Dual tread compound, which enhances performance. This combines two types of rubber: a hard underlay and a softer surface, for a controlled ride.
In this version Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, also features Exo sidewall reinforcement for extra protection against abrasion and tearing.
