Description
Designed to cope with the variable conditions found on World Cup Downhill tracks, the tire MAXXIS Shorty 29 x 2,40 WT Exo 3C Tubeless Ready soft bead offers great versatility, making it equally at home on dry, mixed or muddy terrain.
Robust and with greater volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features large, slightly offset sideblocks for great stability in turns, even at high speed.
The tread, with its widely-spaced blocks, ensures efficient evacuation of stones and mud, while its square shape guarantees biting braking. It is also equipped with the triple compound tread compound MaxxTerra offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than the MaxxSpeed, and higher performance than MaxxGrip.
In this version, it features Exo sidewall reinforcement for enhanced protection against abrasion and tearing, and can be fitted with or without an inner tube. What's more, the carcass has been optimized for mounting on rims with an internal width of 35 mm.
