MAXXIS SHORTY 29x2.40 WT DH 3C MaxxGrip Tubeless Ready Folding Tyre Black

Designed to meet the variable conditions of World Cup cross-country tracks Downhill, the MAXXIS Shorty 29x2.40 WT Downhill 3C MaxxGrip folding bead tyre is particularly at home on soft to muddy terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimised for rims 30 to 35 mm wide. It is also designed for Tubeless Ready fitting, without an inner tube.

Ultra-robust thanks to its reinforced Dual Ply casing, and with a greater volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features wide, large lateral knobs that are slightly offset, providing great stability in corners, even at high speed.

The tread, with its widely spaced knobs, ensures efficient evacuation of stones and mud whilst guaranteeing biting braking thanks to their square shape.

It is also equipped with the triple compound MaxxGrip rubber blend, which offers the optimal combination of rebound and grip, for the highest level of performance.
