Description

Tested and approved by the brand's top riders, the MICHELIN Force AM2 Competition Line tyre features an optimal balance between grip, rolling efficiency, longevity, weight and damage resistance for use in All Mountain MTB.

This fast-rolling model is suited to compact and mixed terrain. It features a directional tread pattern designed for excellent rolling efficiency, while also offering high levels of grip under braking and in corners. The tread incorporates elongated centre blocks for reduced rolling resistance and lower soil penetration. The numerous edges on the knob sides help optimise braking and traction. The shoulder knobs are inspired by Michelin's DH22 tyre and guarantee grip and stability in corners, with progressive lean-in.

The dual Gum-X Technology compound features a harder central zone for optimal rolling efficiency and lifespan, combined with softer rubber on the shoulder knobs for cornering grip. The Gravity Shield technology liners use high-density fibre from bead to bead for increased resistance to impacts, sidewall cuts and punctures, coupled with a 3x60 TPI casing ply for rigidity and stability, while maintaining good comfort levels.

Good tire

"Came as a replacement for a continental mountain king, it inspires robustness, grips very well (dry terrain for the moment). I just find it less rolling than its predecessor."

Super tire

"Good grip and easy to take on a rear mount".
