Tested and approved by the brand's top riders, the tire MICHELIN Force AM2 Competition Line features an optimum balance of grip, rolling efficiency, longevity, weight and damage resistance for use in MTB All Mountain use.
This fast-rolling model is suitable for compact and mixed terrain. It features a directional tread designed for excellent rolling efficiency, but which also offers high levels of grip when braking and cornering. The tread features elongated center blocks for reduced rolling resistance and ground penetration. Numerous stud edges optimize braking and traction. The shoulder studs, inspired by Michelin's DH22 tire, guarantee grip and stability in bends, as well as progressive cornering.
The double compound Gum-X Technology features a harder central zone for optimum rolling efficiency and durability, combined with softer rubber on the shoulder lugs for grip in bends. Technology treads Gravity Shield liners use a high-density heel-to-bead fiber for enhanced resistance to impact, sidewall cuts and punctures, coupled with a 3x60 TPI carcass ply for stiffness and stability, while maintaining good levels of comfort.
