Ze front tire

"A must, the competition is lagging behind, this tire is magic. Unaffected by the pebbles at lunchtime (where the Magic Mary quickly sends the info back to the handlebars), it grips at an angle like never before, you can pull the lever hard in the big D-, it warns you when it's going to stall - in short, I'm won over."

INDEMONSTRABLE TIRE!

"Achat Pneu 27. 5x2. 40 WILD ENDURO FRONT MAGI X2 le 02. 05. 22. 1 - TIRE CANNOT BE REPAIRED! Mounted on Syncros 27. 5" rim Following a puncture in the middle of the Causse Méjean during the GTMC course from Clermont-Ferrand to Cap d'Agde, it was impossible to get the tire off the rim. So I used a Decathlon puncture repair spray. Phew! Conclusive result! The rim clamping is really too tight. Such a tight fit is useless, even with tubeless tires. Michelin should compare rim clamping with competitors like Maxxis and Schwalbe, and modify its MTB tire design specifications. All my MTB colleagues stopped fitting Michelin tires quite a long time ago, including on rims reputed to be easy to fit. I'm going to have to do the same. Michelin MTB tire designers seem to have forgotten the history of the Group to which they belong: "In 1891, André and Edouard Michelin invented the demountable tire in Clermont-Ferrand". A return to basics would be welcome! 2 - MAGI X2 GUM OPINION After 6 years, Michelin has finally changed the MAGI X rubber into MAGI X2 rubber. The MAGI X rubber presented numerous cuts and tears on mixed terrain. The problem seems to have been corrected with MAGI X2 rubber. But 6 years to modify is really too long! I strongly advise against buying the MICHELIN WILD ENDURO tire in 27. 5''."

Exceptional grip

"Great tires, the grip is excellent, so far on medium-dry to oily terrain nothing to complain about. Combined with the michelin wild enduro rear the combo is just perfect. I leave Maxxis with no regrets."

Good tire but...

"Very good tire but less grippy than the Assegai which remains the reference for me. The Michelin rubber is harder, so it's probably also more durable, but we'll have to see over time... ..."

back to Michelin, much to my delight

"tubeless, not too hard to ride (well! it's the front), great grip on the soft stuff, great nose turn".

TOP

"I knocked out all my previous pr's on strava with the wildenduro rear and front combo, so that must mean something. And it's mainly the front tire that I owe it to, I think. Rigid, stable, very good grip, for the moment if I take it to task it's more my fault than his. Hand-fitted, slammed on the pump, too easy, but when I tried to unclip the front to put in fluid, impossible. I didn't insist, we'll see another time, but there's no risk of it slipping off even at low pressure. So far, I'm very satisfied with the maxxis dhf/dhr2 combo (the dhf isn't as good, but the dhr2 seems equivalent or even better when climbing on wet stones)".

THE front tire!

"A very efficient tire whatever the terrain, and very reassuring, after riding Maxxis for a long time".

Very good ride

"Tested the full Michelin enduro mount (front and rear) today on the Vuache in very wet conditions (rain for 2 days). Very good feeling compared to my usual mount (DHF / DHR2). Very good behavior on rocks and in the dirt of undergrowth. The cornering is straightforward, you're on a rail. No nasty surprises, the tire doesn't slip. I rode tubeless. To be seen over time, but the first sensations are better (for me) than with my usual mount. Well, magix or normal rubber... I'm not good enough to feel the difference, so while I'm not riding much at the moment, I went for the higher range, because in theory it's going to last me a long time. 4 stars, the 5th will be earned if the endurance is there."

A little marvel

"I've been riding them for almost 8 months now and I'm totally satisfied! They're the perfect compromise between weight/sturdiness/grip/wear/price. The grip is really top-notch, and you can ride with confidence in all conditions (even a little wet). The grip in turns is top-notch, and the studs are really tough. Wear is still good even after 8 months (2/3 outings a week). It's well positioned in terms of weight for this category (bike park and other tough outings, St Nizier à Grenoble, Chamrousse . . .). ) You can go low on pressure: I've ridden at 1.3 bar for 75 kg equipped. In short, a very good tire!

Wild enduro test

"Tires with o top grip but cruelly lacking solidity against stones and uneven terrain, the performance not really designed for that ... ."
