The MICROSHIFT ACOLYTE V2 RD-M5185M-B 8V SpringLock Medium Cage Rear Derailleur is designed to offer reliability and stability on off-road practices for young riders in 24/26" or leisure mountain bikes. Its robust design guarantees constant operation, even in demanding conditions, while ensuring smooth, precise transmission over rough terrain.

At the heart of the system is SPRINGLOCK technology, an innovative chain retention mechanism combining a high-tension spring and two-stage activation. This device effectively holds the chain in place when the terrain becomes chaotic, yet can be simply deactivated to facilitate wheel removal. The Ver.2 cage improves chain winding and retention.

Compatible exclusively with Acolyte shifters, the ACOLYTE V2 RD-M5185M-B SpringLock works with 8-speed 12-42 and 12-46 tooth cassettes. Its direct cable routing guarantees smooth, responsive and reliable shifting.
