The 12-speed single chainring ROTOR Q-Rings Direct Mount is designed for cyclists accustomed to oval chainrings, which require a particular pedalling technique. Perfect for Gravel and Cyclocross, this chainring also suits any rider looking to improve their pedalling stroke.
Thanks to their special oval shape (12.5% ovality), they help reduce the dead spot effect when the cranks are perpendicular. Power transfer is also improved when the cranks are parallel to the road, in their most favourable position for the cyclist's push.
This ROTOR Q-Rings chainring has the advantage of a direct mount design, which does away with a spider and fastening hardware. Weight is thus reduced and installation made easier, without affecting material durability. It is made from heat-treated 7075-T6 aluminium and very carefully CNC machined. The tooth profile is also optimised to ensure the best possible chain retention.
Finally, it should be noted that this ROTOR chainring incorporates OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) technology, which allows the cyclist to adjust very finely — in one-degree increments — their position, to best match their particular pedalling stroke and personal feel.

"Reçu et monté rapidement en remplacement d'un plateau xt 30 dents. Très beau plateau qui se monte aisément. Monter le bien pour visualiser les inscriptions comme indiqué sur la photo. Le ressenti de l'oval est bien présent. Le pedalage est plus fluide. J'ai profité du changement pour changer la chaîne et la cassette. Tout fonctionne parfaitement avec le derailleur xt."
