The CYCLING CERAMIC Oversize Derailleur Cage for Sram Apex 1 is designed to optimise the performance of Sram Apex 1 drivetrains. This oversized cage significantly improves overall groupset efficiency by reducing mechanical losses and promoting smoother power transfer, even under heavy load.
Thanks to an oversize pulley geometry and the Oversized Pulley Geometry technology, the increased pulley diameter limits chain articulation and reduces friction. The CNC-machined monocoque structure, made from aerospace-grade materials and incorporating the CNC-Machined Monocoque Construction technology, guarantees rigidity, light weight and precise alignment under real-world conditions.
The optimised chain path and constant tension control ensure precise and silent gear shifts. Equipped with ultra-low friction ceramic bearings thanks to the Ultra-Low Friction Ceramic Bearings technology, each Oversize Derailleur Cage is individually assembled and tested in France to deliver reliability, durability and competition-level performance.
