As its name suggests, the pair of CAMPAGNOLO Bora WTO 45 wheels was developed in a wind tunnel, the acronym WTO standing for Wind Tunnel Optimized. The result is a versatile wheelset with breathtaking handling and aerodynamics! In this version Dark Labelversion, the rim is adorned with black stickers, for a sober, racy look.
On flat or hilly terrain, the Bora WTO 45 is the perfect choice. The design of the carbon rim makes it extremely maneuverable, while guaranteeing better air penetration. The 2-Way Fit profile allows both tubeless and clincher tires to be fitted. Whether they're 23, 25 or 28 mm, they're one with the 19 mm rim, for an ultra-homogeneous whole. The one-piece hub also features a tapered profile to optimize air flow and minimize resistance.
Inside the hub are USB™ ceramic bearings (Ultra Smooth Bearings) that limit friction and therefore energy loss. In addition to improved smoothness, these components further lighten the wheel.
The rim is made entirely of carbon and boasts incredible lateral rigidity. It also features a new AC3 braking surface that improves the efficiency of the brakes' action. Brake Pads on Road wet conditions. Stiffness is also optimized thanks to the use of a G3 rear spoking system that is more efficient and eliminates vibrations.
