Description
As its name suggests, the CAMPAGNOLO Bora WTO 45 wheelset was developed in a wind tunnel, with the acronym WTO standing for Wind Tunnel Optimized. This extensive research made it possible to create a versatile wheelset with breathtaking handling and aerodynamics! In this Dark Label version, the rim is dressed with black stickers, for a sleek and sophisticated look.
On flat or rolling terrain, the Bora WTO 45 will be the perfect choice. The carbon rim design provides extremely responsive handling while ensuring better air penetration. The 2-Way Fit profile allows the use of inner tube or tubeless tyres. Whether in 23, 25 or 28 mm, they integrate seamlessly with the 19 mm internal width rim, for an ultra-homogeneous assembly. The monobloc hub also features a tapered profile to optimise airflow and minimise drag.
Inside the hub, you will find USB™ (Ultra Smooth Bearings) ceramic bearings, which reduce friction and therefore energy loss. In addition to improved smoothness, these components further reduce the weight of the wheel.
The rim is entirely made of carbon and features incredible lateral stiffness. It is also equipped with a new AC3 braking surface, which improves the efficiency of brake pads on wet roads. Stiffness is further optimised through the use of a higher-performing G3 rear spoke pattern that eliminates vibrations.
