The CRANKBROTHERS SYNTHESIS Carbon DH11 I9 Hydra wheelset has been developed to offer absolute control and maximum stability on descents, whether in training or on the most demanding World Cup tracks. Thanks to a differentiated design between the front and rear wheels, each component — rim, spokes, hub — is optimised to meet the specific demands of DH riding.

The front wheel, with its internal width of 31.5 mm, features a rim profile and carbon layup designed to offer excellent lateral and vertical compliance. This improves steering precision, grip in corners and absorbs vibrations on aggressive terrain (rocks, roots), while reducing handlebar fatigue. Sapim CX-Ray flat spokes enhance this feeling of comfort without sacrificing performance.

At the rear, stiffness is prioritised to offer better stability, efficient power transfer and increased resistance to impacts. The rim is also made of reinforced carbon with an identical internal width of 31.5 mm, allowing excellent tyre retention and increased grip under braking. Sapim CX-Sprint spokes ensure strength and durability under heavy lateral loads.

Finally, the Industry Nine Hydra hubs, machined in the USA, offer an ultra-fast engagement of 0.52°, for immediate responsiveness when accelerating. Fitted with high-quality Enduro® bearings and a 7075-T6 aluminium body, they combine precision, reliability and lightness. This high-end DH wheel combines performance, robustness and aesthetics with an anodised black finish and laser-engraved logos.

This version is available for Mullet mountain bikes with a 29" front wheel and 27.5" rear wheel.
