Available in 29", la pair of ENVE FOUNDATION AM30 wheels is a versatile pair of wheels designed for MTB Trail Enduro with 2.3" to 2.6" tires.

With a shape and handling Road this unique pair dampen vibrations for a comfortable ride. The asymmetrical profile balances spoke tensions and helps preserve wheel speed and spoke integrity.

With a rim depth of 20 mm, they offer slightly less front-end rigidity, making for less demanding wheels. In the same vein, the orientation of the carbon fibers has been revised for better vibration dissipation.

The AM30 prevents punctures thanks to its Wide Hookless Bead patent-pending Wide Hookless Bead. It dissipates impact energy, preventing the rim from slicing through the tire. This means you can choose the tires, casings and pressures you want. This technology improves pinch resistance by 50% compared with other hookless rims, reduces tire pressure, improves traction and rolling resistance, and offers greater impact resistance.

Its patented molding process for spoke and valve stem holes has been extended to include external spoke holes and nipples. Because carbon fiber derives its strength from continuous fibers, the fibers are routed around the holes without cutting them, increasing the strength of each spoke hole and reducing the likelihood of frequent straightening. What's more, by molding the spoke and valve stem holes, these rims achieve a remarkable strength-to-weight ratio.

With an internal width of 30 mm, this wheelset matches perfectly with modern off-road tires from 2.3 to 2.6 inches wide. It ensures that the tires put their full width to the ground, and don't fold up as easily when cornering.
