The FULCRUM Red Zone 5 29" wheelset is perfect for mountain bikers looking to enjoy themselves on Trail and All Mountain.
Signed by FULCRUM, this wheelset is built around a wide rim (wider than previous versions) with an asymmetric cross-section guaranteeing traction and stability. The rim is paired with a high-performance one-piece aluminium hub ensuring high torque transmission with an oversized cassette-side flange for torsional stiffness, and straight-pull spokes ensuring maximum robustness and responsiveness. An ideal balance between stiffness and lightness!
The new hubs now feature the same small tube as those used on the Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3 models. The differences lie in the axle and bearing type: the Red Zone 5 wheels are fitted with sealed, durable and efficient bearings, with the possibility of fine-tuning play via a special adjustment ring.
In this version, the wheelset is offered with Boost axles of 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear.
