The DT SWISS FR 1500 CLASSIC wheelset was developed to withstand the most demanding stresses encountered in downhill and freeride. Designed to offer maximum solidity and durability, it is capable of absorbing repeated impacts, heavy compressions and the most committed landings. Thanks to its new rim profile, this wheelset combines robustness and weight optimisation to guarantee more dynamic and precise handling on the most demanding terrain.

Made from aluminium, the rims feature localised reinforcements that increase their resistance to shocks and deformation. The redesigned sidewalls also improve protection against pinch flats, an essential advantage for riders tackling technical and rough trails. This design maintains excellent stability and high reliability, even during the most demanding sessions.

The wheels are fitted with DT Swiss 240 hubs paired with Ratchet EXP 36 technology, ensuring efficient, reliable and durable power transfer. The DT Competition® spoke pattern is distributed with 28 spokes at the front and 32 at the rear to provide an optimal balance between stiffness, steering precision and resistance to high loads. DT ProLock nipples contribute to maintaining spoke tension over time and preserving the wheel's performance throughout its lifespan.
