Description

La Pair of SHIMANO brakes Deore M6100 allows you to benefit from the Japanese manufacturer's design quality, at a very competitive price! This versatile model, ideal for leisure riding MTB, can be used on all types of outings (from XC to All Mountain). Simple and convenient to install, it is supplied here in a Junction-Kit designed above all for frames with internal ducting.

The ergonomic lever incorporates Servo Wave technology, which provides precise, almost instantaneous braking. It also features handlebar, an additional contact point to stiffen the whole and ensure a precise feel. The refined design, particularly of the clamp, is inspired by top-of-the-range Shimano models.

As for the BR-M6100 caliper, based on a reliable and efficient dual-piston system, it benefits from a light and rigid design, studied to best handle high temperatures. The One-Way purge system ensures quick and easy maintenance.

Installation of J-Kit brakes:
- Position your brake lever on the handlebar of the bike
- Mount your brake caliper on the fork and/or frame
- Route the brake hose through the internal passage in your frame (if your bike is so equipped).
- Remove the black rubber plug from the end of the hose
- Remove the yellow end caps from the brake levers.
- Slide the black rubber nut cover over the hose
- Do not remove the small white cap from the end of the hose.
- Insert brake hose into lever nut
- Keeping the hose at the bottom of the lever nut, tighten the nut to compress the olive inside the lever. There's no need to overtighten, as the nut thread should remain visible, and is then masked by the nut cover you slid over the hose earlier.
- Now you can operate the brake to finalize its installation.

PM = Postmount
IS = International Standard Mounting
If the spacing between the two caliper mounting bolts (on frame or fork) is 74mm, this corresponds to a PM mounting. If the spacing is 51mm, it's an IS mounting.
