Designed to meet the demands placed on the rear wheel and perfectly suited to mixed terrain, dry or wet, the tyre MTB PIRELLI Scorpion R provides excellent grip. It is presented here in its version 29X2.20 Tubeless Ready with folding bead, ideal for Touring and the Cross-Country !

For even greater performance, the R features a cut and puncture-resistant material as well as SmartGRIP Compound technology. Developed and tested on race tracks around the world, this construction offers incredible grip, durability and rolling efficiency in all conditions.

The sidewalls feature an additional 120tpi cut-resistant coating for effective protection without compromising performance. The Scorpion R casing has been specially developed for more stable riding at low pressure, a larger contact patch, and better vibration absorption.

Also designed for dry and wet surfaces, the tread features closely spaced low knobs. This design increases rolling efficiency while ensuring excellent road holding and limiting deformation in corners.

The tyre profile is also optimised to fit modern aluminium and carbon rims with a wide internal channel.
