The PIRELLI Scorpion™ XC M tire is the best choice for marathon cross-country outings where terrain often varies but speed remains a fundamental characteristic. The tire incorporates a medium profile and spacing tread for fast and safe riding on a variety of different soils, from hard to soft.
For even greater performance, the XC benefits from an anti-tear and puncture material, as well as from SmartGRIP Compound. Developed and tested on racetracks all over the world, this construction offers incredible grip, durability and fluidity in all conditions.
The carcass is reinforced with a layer of nylon fabric on the sidewalls. ProWALLsidewalls for puncture protection, low-pressure handling and greater cornering stability. The tread was designed with XC World Cup racers in mind, with low, numerous central lugs for greater fluidity and pronounced lateral lugs for control in turns.
