PRIDE EB24 Stainless Black Bottom Bracket

The bottom bracket Pride Racing EB24 Stainless is a high-end evolution designed to tackle the worst weather conditions without flinching. Developed for frames with a threaded shell in the traditional Euro (BSA) standard, this external model precisely accommodates cranksets fitted with a 24 mm spindle.

Its strength lies in the integration of high-precision stainless steel bearings (Stainless Steel). Unlike standard steel bearings, stainless steel offers exceptional resistance to oxidation caused by water, mud and intensive washing. Combined with carefully machined aluminium cups, this bottom bracket guarantees smooth rotation season after season.

What is the difference between the standard "Sealed" version and this "Stainless" version? While the Sealed version uses standard carbon steel bearings, the Stainless version uses a stainless steel alloy. If you frequently ride in the rain, on muddy tracks or if you regularly clean your bike, the Stainless version will prevent the bearings from seizing or rusting prematurely.

Is it compatible with 30 mm spindle cranksets? No. The internal diameter of the bearings is 24 mm. This bottom bracket is specifically calibrated for 24 mm spindles. For a 30 mm spindle, specific bottom brackets exist (often referred to as BSA30).

How to successfully install this bottom bracket? Thoroughly clean the threads on your frame. Apply a generous coat of assembly grease (anti-seize or lithium grease) to the threads of the bottom bracket and frame to seal the assembly and prevent creaking noises. Use a standard external bottom bracket tool for torque tightening.
