Description

The Rear Brake SHIMANO SAINT M820 is the preferred choice of Gravityoffering ultimate braking power and nuanced modulation in all conditions.

Designed for rugged terrain, it is equipped with BL-M820 with adjustable reach Reach Adjust and platelet attack adjustment, as well as I-SPEC B. This adjustment makes it possible to adapt the distance between the handle and the lever, to suit all hand sizes and riding preferences for optimal braking.

This hydraulic disc brake features a rigid 4-piston ceramic caliper and the ICE TECHNOLOGIEStechnology, which reduces heat build-up for constant braking, preventing slackening during intense, prolonged descents. The action SERVOWAVE action brings the brake pads into rapid contact with the rotor, multiplying braking power for greater control with less lever movement.

Its rugged design and advanced features make it an essential choice for the Downhill and demanding disciplines, guaranteeing safe, high-performance braking.

Incomplete package

"I'm disappointed—there's no bolt to secure the gear shifter at this price point; it's a scandal. I had to cancel my ride this weekend because the shifter is hanging loose. No response from customer service despite my request, and ProBikeShop+ is gone without any notice. Well, I guess we have to buy French, but the service needs to measure up to the competition."

Good brakes, easy to bleed

"Good brakes, but they need to be broken in to get rid of the spongy feel in the lever. They stop hard, but the stock organic pads flake off in (large) pieces when riding downhill."

The best of the best!! 100% approved!!

"THE gold standard in DH brakes!! This is my second pair of Saints, and they're still a joy to use!! Heads up: they stop hard, with a bit of an "on/off" feel—not the smoothest brakes out there—but for me, there's nothing better! I highly recommend them!"

Stefmag (5/5)

Brakes are top-notch!

"Fast shipping, and the brakes are excellent! Switching from SRAM CODE R to SAINT has been a real pleasure!"

Powerful brakes and a killer look

"I received my new Saints brakes quickly to replace my seized SLX brakes and installed them right away. I bled the system because the lever was hitting the end of its travel on the handlebar. After bleeding, the performance wasn’t always great: the lever travel was too long. After doing some research online, I flushed some fluid through the closed-loop caliper to bring the pistons closer together. Since then, performance has been outstanding. After a very short break-in period, paired with my RT86 rotors, they brake incredibly hard on a very muddy trail (this is the NORTH). As for the price: well, that’s the price of quality ;-)"

Tipote62 (5/5)

The gold standard!!!

"Just perfect when you want your underwear to show when you hit the brakes!"

Top-notch brakes

"I replaced the SRAM GUIDE RE brakes on my Turbo Levo—which I found too spongy—and now I have brakes that are powerful and easy to modulate with just one finger. It’s a dream!"

SAINT brakes: Always at the top of their game

"Power in any situation, smoothness, endurance, minimal heat buildup, ergonomic levers . . . . The reach and pad spacing adjustments allow each rider to tailor the feel to their own preferences and riding style. And PBS is always top-notch."
