When paired with the Radar Drive taillight, this headlight becomes your on-board warning system. It uses rider-facing LEDs and a built-in speaker to give you visual and audible warnings of approaching vehicles from behind. No need to consult your speedometer or smartphone: the danger is signalled directly on your handlebars.
Do radar alerts work without the taillight? No, React Drive Front's visual and audible alerts require detection of the Lezyne Radar Drive taillight. Together, they form the "Radar React" system.
Can I use it with an external battery? Yes, it's compatible with Lezyne's Infinite Light Power Pack+ to double or even triple your autonomy on night-time adventures.
How do the headlight alerts work? In addition to the front white beam, a translucent area on the top/rear of the headlight lights up red when the radar detects a car. The frequency of the beeps increases as the vehicle approaches.
