Description
The rear DT SWISS EXC 1500 CLASSIC wheel has been developed to withstand the most significant stresses encountered in enduro riding. Its Carbon rim features a specific design aimed at maximising impact resistance while minimising rotational mass. This architecture delivers a robust and responsive wheel, capable of handling the repeated compressions, landings and accelerations found on the most demanding special stages.
To reinforce the overall strength of the wheel, the rear wheel uses a 32 DT CompLite® spoke build, greater than that of the front wheel. This configuration improves lateral stiffness and overall resistance under heavy loads. The asymmetric rim with a 30 mm internal width ensures excellent tyre retention and better stability during fast cornering or technical sections.
The heart of the wheel is built around the DT Swiss 240 hub equipped with the Ratchet DEG 90 system. This freehub with 90 points of engagement delivers rapid power transfer and immediate responsiveness when accelerating. The DF Technology also helps reduce pedal kickback phenomena, improving bike control on rough terrain.
