The brand wanted to create an ultra-reliable, low-maintenance pedal. To achieve this, a special metal alloy ring is used to provide excellent lubrication and less maintenance than Teflon or plastic rings.
The platform is large and concave to maximize pedal grip. The standard 11 mm pins can be replaced by optional 9 mm or even 13 mm pins!
