CAMPAGNOLO EKAR Right Lever and Rear Calliper 140mm Flat Mount Without Disc

The CAMPAGNOLO EKAR hydraulic rear brake offers a braking system identical to other Campagnolo callipers and ensures excellent modulation. It provides an optimal feel on the road and performs even better on gravel routes!

The Ekar calliper features a new design and a special finish, to coordinate with the other components of the gravel groupset. The DB310 brake pads – also compatible with other Campagnolo disc brakes – are made with a unique organic compound that not only delivers high braking performance, but also improved wear resistance: a major advantage in the demanding gravel environment, on wet or dry terrain.

The grip has been specifically adapted for gravel while retaining all the system's advantages, including the precision and maximum comfort guaranteed by the Vari-Cushion™ hand rests.

The lever has been redesigned: larger and C-shaped, it is easy to reach with the right thumb while pedalling with your hands in the high position on the handlebars, namely the hand position most used by gravel cyclists.

The levers allow the brake lever reach to be adjusted to suit hand and finger size, thus meeting the demands of your riding style. To further improve control on gravel routes, the aluminium brake lever and hand rests are laser-etched with an additional pattern to improve grip, whatever the ambient conditions.

The laser-etched pattern is also resistant to wear from sweat or dirt: an ideal solution for gravel riding.
