Description
The ROCKSHOX BOXXER SELECT CHARGER 3 RC Fork embodies a new approach focused on control and precision for downhill riding. Designed to improve predictability and reduce fatigue, it effectively isolates shocks and vibrations while retaining trail feel. This design aims for faster and more stable riding, suited to demanding terrain and intensive use in bike parks or competition.
At the heart of this evolution, the LinearXL air spring offers a fully linear and position-sensitive curve. Supple at the start of the travel, firm in the middle, it incorporates a bottom-out bumper for controlled feel at the end of the travel. Combined with the AirAnnex system, it increases the air volume in the legs to reduce excessive progressivity and speed sensitivity. The breather ports also optimise sensitivity throughout the travel.
The Charger 3 RC cartridge offers independent compression and rebound adjustment; together the assembly delivers silent and precise damping, making adjustments easier and ensuring consistency on long descents.
The structure adopts a rigid chassis optimised for DH with 38 mm stanchions, improving precision without excessive vibrations. Dust seals developed with SKF reduce friction and promote lasting sensitivity, while a blend of Maxima lubricants limits wear and maintains smooth performance between services.
The simplified configuration with visible markings allows for quick and reproducible adjustment. Available in 2 wheel sizes and Offset, this fork adapts to various modern DH builds while maintaining a reliable and high-performance approach.
