It works, but it leaks oil.
"Ordered in February in size 210x55, returned to SRAM France in April after noticing oil and/or grease on the shock body after every ride. As for how it works, there’s nothing wrong with that, so is it a big deal? If we ignore the dirt and dust that sticks to it, no, but SRAM replaced the air seals with a “No issues” note. We took it back. It’s still leaking. I figured it would only last a while, until the excess oil and grease drained out after the service. By early August, the same leaks persisted, and I noticed: less and less oil in the air spring! So I notified ProbikeShop’s customer service again (which, by the way, I commend for its efficiency). After a few exchanges, SRAM responded: it’s absolutely normal; the excess oil needs to drain out, even over several months, so it’s normal to see traces. So SRAM refers to “traces” for leaks visible after just a few pumps, as well as on a clean cloth when wiping them down. Clearly, we’re not talking about the same thing, but I understood that would be the end of it. So I’m not quite sure what to make of this shock, which works relatively well, but whose build quality I unfortunately can’t praise. My Fox Float DPS, which I put through the wringer for a year and a half, never gave us this kind of show."
