The RRP ProGuard Rear is not just a simple rear mudguard: it is a technical shield. While most models simply protect the rider's back, the ProGuard Rear is designed to fit as close to the wheel as possible in order to stop mud, sand and salt projections directly at the source.
Its role is crucial for the longevity of your bike: it creates a watertight barrier for your rear shock, your pivot points and your frame bearings. By limiting the build-up of dirt in the suspension linkages, it drastically reduces premature wear and unwanted creaking. With its multiple mounting points and trimmable design, it fits the majority of Trail, Enduro and Downhill frames.
