The BROOKS C15 Carved Saddle is the "high-performance" version of the Cambium family, designed for dynamic, sporty riding. Narrower than the classic C17, it offers greater freedom of movement for the thighs when pedaling fast. The "Carved" specificity lies in its cut-out central opening, which offers increased flexibility and considerably relieves pressure on sensitive areas.

Like the rest of the Cambium range, it rests on a vulcanized natural rubber top that follows the rider's movements for immediate "hammock" comfort. Why choose the C15 over the C17? The C15 is narrower (140 mm vs. 162 mm). It's recommended if you have a lower riding position (handlebars lower than the saddle) or a rather narrow pelvis.

Does the central opening allow water to pass underneath? In heavy rain and without mudguards, it's possible for a few splashes to pass through the recess. However, the saddle material itself is totally waterproof and does not saturate with water.

Is the Carved version softer than the solid version? Yes. The cut-out allows both sides of the saddle to move more independently, making the seat overall more flexible and smoother on rough roads.
