The BROOKS C67 Saddle is Brooks' answer to the specific needs of electric bicycle (EAB) and cargo bike users. With its extra-wide shape and short nose, it is optimized for a fully upright riding position (90°).

Its special feature is the raised rear section: this "fan-shaped" design helps stabilize the rider during hard acceleration, typical of powerful electric motors, while preventing the bike from sliding backwards. Made from vulcanized natural rubber and covered with robust nylon, it offers immediate flexibility that absorbs urban vibrations without any maintenance. How is it better suited to EABs than the C19? While the C19 is excellent for comfort, the C67 goes a step further with its curved rear profile that "wedges" the pelvis. On a VAE, we tend to remain more static in the saddle; the C67 avoids unnecessary micro-movements and offers better leverage when assisted pedaling.

Is it too wide for my bike? At 200 mm wide, it's imposing. It's perfect for Dutch, cargo or urban comfort bikes. If your handlebars are lower than your saddle, it'll probably be too wide and interfere with leg movement.

Will it resist scratches in town? Yes, the nylon cover is extremely resistant to abrasion. Unlike leather, which can be scratched if the bike falls or rubs against a wall, the C67 is made to withstand the rigors of city parking.

Is it compatible with suspension seatposts? Absolutely. The combination of a C67 and a suspension seatpost creates the ultimate comfort combo to turn any urban commute into a flying carpet.
