Description

The SMP WELL S saddle is ideal for those discovering the world of cycling and looking for comfort and safety. It adapts to the narrow pelvis of both men and women. It can be fitted on road bikes or MTBs.

This saddle features a beak-shaped nose that improves your comfort in a low position. It offers maximum freedom to move the body forward and eliminates genital compression.

Its central channel removes compression in the perineal and prostate areas for complete blood circulation, greater ventilation of the genital region and protection of nerve and vascular structures. This streamlines your movement and improves your muscle power.

Its support zone supports and stabilises the pelvis for better pedal thrust and reduced energy loss. Its rear design protects the coccyx, while its seat tube offers better shock absorption with higher lateral stability and resistance.

SMP uses an innovative production process that allows the surface to be applied without using adhesives or mechanical fastenings. This results in superior comfort, thanks to softer and flatter surfaces, and a longer product lifespan.

The padding is made of high mechanical resistance soft polyurethane. The shell is designed to withstand the most rigorous resistance and stability tests over time. The rails offer great resistance to stress and vibration absorption capacity. In addition, the fixing plates allow higher standards of safety and robustness to be achieved.

"Forget its angled face and recognize that it's designed for narrow ischials (110mm for me) and those who, not having a flat butt, prefer semi-rounded saddles. With SMPs, you're more "in the saddle" than "on the saddle", and the increased contact points reduce pressure. But if you feel it between your legs to support you in your efforts, you'll forget all about it thanks to its comfort. Plan several outings to adjust the rail and angle. Make sure your carriage can tilt back more than 5°, otherwise it won't fit (hence one star less for this constraint). On the other hand, I weighed 265g instead of the advertised 280g. Too bad the rail isn't also available in titanium."
