Description

The SMP WELL saddle is ideal for those discovering the world of cycling and looking for comfort and security. It adapts to the narrow pelvis of both men and women.

This saddle features a beak-shaped nose that improves your comfort in the low position. It offers maximum freedom to move the body forward and eliminates genital compression.

Its central channel removes compression in the perineal and prostatic areas for complete blood circulation, greater ventilation of the genital region and protection of nerve and vascular structures. This smooths your movement and improves your muscular power.

Its support zone supports and stabilises the pelvis for better pedalling power and reduced energy loss. Its rear design protects the coccyx, while its seat tube offers improved shock absorption with greater lateral stability and resistance.

SMP uses an innovative production process that allows the surface to be applied without the use of adhesives or mechanical fixings. This results in superior comfort, thanks to smoother and flatter surfaces, and a longer product lifespan.

The padding is made from high mechanical resistance flexible polyurethane. The shell is designed to withstand the most rigorous resistance and stability tests over time. Always satisfied with Selle SMP saddles

"We own several saddles from this manufacturer. After various trials and tribulations, SMP brought us what my wife and I were looking for: a bike with no problems in the saddle. I bought this Well model, which I intended to replace a Drakon model on my road bike. After more than ten years of use, the leather had worn off in places and was beginning to play an abrasive role on my cycling shorts. I took advantage of a promotion at Probikeshop to order a Well model. No longer leather, but synthetic, with a much more modest price than the Drakon; but for the rest, it's pretty much the same shape and dimensions. The Well is a little softer, with a more grippy synthetic covering than leather. This takes some getting used to, especially when you return to the seat after a "dancing" sequence. If you don't fall back into place, it's hard to slide in. You have to lift yourself up a bit. As for the rest, it's fine. Let's see how it ages!

Very very good Saddle

"The Well has been fitted to my XC mountain bike for some time now, and I've done several long-distance raids with the SMP Well. The saddle is very comfortable, even over several kilometers of rocky terrain. It's easy to grab between the legs on descents and you're well supported either on the seat lip on the big technical climbs or in the hollow of the saddle the rest of the way! I highly recommend it! (the hardest part is finding the right width, but for that you just have to try it, and to try it is to adopt it :)"
