La SCHWALBE Aerothan 700x23/28c PRESTA air chamber is a revolutionary model that achieves superior values in terms of elasticity, weight and puncture resistance.
It's made of a thermoplastic polyester-polyurethane called Aerothane, more robust and resistant than those made of butyl, latex or other plastics. It offers unique tensile strength, exceptional cushioning, resistance to extreme heat (temperatures in excess of 150°C at 78km/h) and maximum wear, and is recyclable.
Aerothan chambers don't burst suddenly, but air escapes slowly in the event of a fault. Even with extremely low air pressure, they retain their shape and handling is stable. Also, assembly is now much easier: the chamber doesn't slip or jam. Finally, save at least 100 g per inner tube compared with conventional models!
