Description

The SCHWALBE Rocket Ron 29x2.25 MTB tyre is an ultralight model providing incredible grip and very low rolling resistance. It is paired with an Addix Speedgrip rubber compound: an ideal combination of speed, traction and longevity.

Particularly effective on the front with its profile featuring wide, well-spaced knobs to guarantee low rolling resistance and excellent self-cleaning, it can be combined with the Racing Ralph at the rear for the ultimate weapon in Cross-Country racing.

The Super Ground model combines lightness and stability. At home on all terrain, it adapts easily to trails, long rides and all types of surface. Furthermore, it provides a balanced ratio between puncture protection and easy rolling.

Very good tire

"Very good. The performance is good and they behave predictably. Also very good in the wet. A very good summer tire before the winter when the stud height will be a bit tight for mud."

Cel44 (5/5)

Insufficient side grip for front mount

"Selected tire by comparing data on Schwalbe website. The tire is rolling and light but still heavier than the weight advertised by the manufacturer. Disappointed with the front mount, the lateral grip is not sufficient. I'm going to mount it on the rear when my rear tire wears out and for the summer season only".

Aliasjim (3/5)

Doesn't run smoothly

"As some people have said, there is a problem in the manufacture of this tire to such an extent that on the road, at high speed, it handles dangerously and also gives the impression of having a veiled wheel. Maybe a bad series..."

Jack40 (2/5)

Completely veiled

"Yet slammed on the compressor (something that was done the first time with tubeless easy) the tire shows an impressive deformation observed after my first ride (I first thought a deformation of the rim but not at all), I do not underinflate ~2 see 2. 2 bars (85kgs) on wheels xr391 in 25mm interior. Like other comments, this seems to be a factory defect. ... At the same time, I've fitted a Nobby Nic in 2.25 but in the Performance range, which runs smoothly. In short, I ride like this but I'm really disappointed by this speedgrip frame. I hope it wears out quickly so I can move on to something else... . As for the rest, you can't take away the fact that it grips well, that it deburbs well and that it's light."

Ben 8. (2/5)

impossible to position correctly

"mounted at the rear on a dt swiss rim, this tire sits very poorly. it wriggles like a worm once the rim is pressurized. numerous feeble attempts to find the right position in the rim groove. regular placement line in the rim bird. or else it's a defect. I have the same on the front in evo liteskin and no worries."

Niner (2/5)

Very good in wet conditions.

"Tubeless tire mounted on rear wheel, not easy to set up the first time given a stiffness higher than the nobby nic but very happy with the result, good grip on all terrains and especially wet."

Xtian555 (5/5)

A sure bet

"An all-season tire that grips well in both wet and dry conditions. Very good performance. Light weight. Limited in very muddy conditions. No punctures in TBR".

Arnaud51 (5/5)

Go anywhere!

"Never disappointed with Rocket Ron. Super versatile. Equally at home in dry or greasy conditions."
