Description
The SHIMANO Bleed Funnel for Brakes Road is specially designed for bleeding Shimano disc brake systems equipped with ST brake/gear levers, commonly used on Road. It is suitable for bleed screws with M7 thread. Unlike previous models, this funnel TL-BR002 can be fitted directly after removal of the O-ring, without the need for an adapter. The spacious funnel, made of durable synthetic material, comes with a lid and an oil plug to prevent leaks when draining.

"Bought to complement the SHIMANO funnel I already had to drain my Shimano XT brakes but which is incompatible with ULTEGRA brakes. This one does the job very well for draining ultegra di2 12v brakes, but... ... it's not compatible with XTs because the screw diameter on the lever isn't the same... ... . The black washer keeps the funnel's obturation rod in a vertical position. It's not essential, but it's handy ;-) Well, in the end ... that's +/-30 € for 2 little plastic funnels, each of which will only be used once or twice a year ... it's a pity SHIMANO didn't manage to pool the same funnel for all its road and MTB disc brakes ..."
