Really disappointed

"I bought this brake to replace a broken one: the result is, I bled the brake 4–7 times, trying different techniques, but nothing changed—the lever is very 'spongy,' not at all firm; I have to pull the lever all the way to the handlebars just to get the bike to stop. Today, I took one last shot at it, and as if by magic, my lever started squirting oil everywhere. I’m extremely disappointed."
