The SHIMANO DEORE XT 8200 Rear Brake with BR-MT805 FlatMount Caliper is designed to deliver precise, consistent braking control for cross-country riding. SERVO WAVE technology optimizes the power curve by effectively managing contact between pads and rotor throughout the lever stroke, guaranteeing progressive, balanced braking.

The use of Shimano's new low-viscosity mineral oil ensures stable power over a wide temperature range, enhancing reliability in all conditions. The deep-drawn alloy lever benefits from proven durability, while optimized hose routing brings a clean, modern aesthetic.

Ergonomics have been improved thanks to a new lever shape, a redesigned pivot point and a fine-tuned clearance adjustment. The SHIMANO DEORE XT 8200 Rear Brake with BR-MT805 FlatMount Caliper allows easy upgrading of Flat Mount assemblies for superior comfort and braking performance.
