Description

The SHIMANO GRX RX812 11-Speed Rear Derailleur was developed to meet the growing popularity of Cyclo-cross and Gravel riding, and the significant demands they place on derailleurs originally designed for road use.

It features a chain stabiliser with Shadow RD+ technology (derived from mountain biking) which prevents chain drops. A switch is placed at the upper pulley and when activated, it holds the pivot more firmly and reduces vibrations.

This model designed for Single Chainring setups can be paired with a cassette sprocket of 42 teeth for greater flexibility.

Shimano's top-of-the-range range, no surprise

"To replace my SRAM APEX 1 groupset. Difficult to give an opinion only on the derailleur when you've just changed the whole group. It's quiet, precise and easy to install."

At the top

"Easy to adjust, smooth gear shifting, and the little clevis lock when it shakes, nothing to complain about."

Impeccable

"Impeccable derailleur for the conversion of my mountain bike".

Well designed, perfect for gravel.

"Well designed with disengageable tensioning system. Easy to adjust and with a contained weight. Not enough miles yet to speak of reliability."
