Successor to the BR-6810, theSHIMANO Ultegra BR-8010 Direct Mount rear calliper on seat stays retains the Dual pivot design, the SLR-EV system and the twin bearings reducing pivot friction, guaranteeing exceptional efficiency and control, with powerful braking and extreme precision.

With a very sleek design and compact arms, the BR-R8000 offers greater clearance making it compatible with wider tyre sizes such as 28C. The stabiliser located between the axles reduces deformation and improves braking efficiency, providing a clear contact feel with a perfect balance between rigidity, weight and braking power.

Mounting on the seat stays, this calliper features a superb integrated and aerodynamic design by reducing the number of superfluous parts while increasing overall braking performance.
